Looking for something fun, safe and welcoming for your young person this May half term?
House in the Basement Youth Café (HiTB) is excited to invite girls and young people aged 11-17 and above to a completely FREE Girls Night event on Saturday, 30th May, from 2 pm– 8 pm at the Youth Café on London Road, Sevenoaks.
Whether your child already attends House in the Basement or is thinking of coming along for the very first time, this event is designed to be relaxed, friendly and packed with activities to enjoy with friends, and to make new ones too!
What is House in the Basement?
House in the Basement (HiTB) is a free drop-in youth café and a safe social space for young people. Based in the heart of Sevenoaks, HiTB provides a welcoming environment where young people can relax, build confidence, meet others and take part in positive activities supported by experienced youth workers.
There are no sign-up fees or paperwork; just drop in, and stay as long or as short as you would like.
Events like Girls Night are all about helping young people feel included, creative and connected in a supportive atmosphere.
What’s Happening at Girls Night?
There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon and evening, including:
Cupcake and biscuit decorating
Arts and crafts activities
Music and films
Games and chill-out spaces
A Bingo competition at 5 pm with prizes to be won
A “Design Your Own T-Shirt” competition, where the winning design will become HiTB’s very first piece of merch!
A Welcoming Space for Everyone
Girls Night is open to everyone who would like to join in. The team at HiTB are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive environment where young people can feel comfortable being themselves, whether they are outgoing, creative, sporty, shy or simply looking for somewhere new to belong.
