Hypermobility is more common amongst neurodivergent people than many realise, yet its influence on everyday life is often overlooked.

Understanding the relationship between hypermobility and neurodiversity can provide valuable insight into movement, coordination, motor skills, fatigue, physical comfort, emotional wellbeing, and autonomic nervous system regulation.

Join Starjumpz leads Dr Georgie Siggers, Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician, and Olivia Luke, Lead Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist, for an informative live presentation exploring:

• What hypermobility is and how it is identified
• Different types and degrees of hypermobility
• The links between hypermobility, autism, ADHD and neurodivergence
• The “Bendy Brain” concept
• The relationship between hypermobility and autonomic symptoms, including POTS
• The impact of hypermobility on wellbeing, stress and everyday functioning
• How hypermobility affects gross and fine motor skills
• Practical implications for children, young people and families

The session will conclude with a live Q&A.
