Join us for the Bore Place Birthday Spotter Trail: a self-led adventure designed for families with young children, with 50 things to find across the woodlands, fields and grounds. From bees and beetles to compost heaps and muddy puddles, it’s a chance to explore this special place and discover what makes it so unique.

Pick up your spotter sheet at the welcome briefing, then head off at your own pace. When you’re done exploring, find a spot to enjoy your picnic and let your children loose in our free play area. There’s no rush and no finish line – stay and enjoy the site for as long as you like. Every child who takes part will receive a citizen scientist sticker – because that’s exactly what you’ll be today: exploring, observing and discovering the natural world.

Who is it for?
This event is designed with young children (up to age 10) in mind, but older siblings and curious grown-ups are very welcome to join in too.
