Football – The Game For Everyone by Fun Football Parties

Football has a unique power to change the lives of many people, and to create memories that can last a lifetime. It is therefore hugely important that the game is accessible, welcoming and inclusive for all.

With over three billion fans, football, also known in some places as soccer, is one of the most popular sports around the world. According to Google, every country in every continent has a national football body and a professional league. There are over 250 million players in over 200 countries.

Many of the places around the world have both men’s and women’s teams. It must be said that men’s football is still more popular, but nowadays more and more women are getting attracted to football and have opportunities to play the sport.

Football is also the most accessible sport in the world. Amateurs can play it easily because all that is needed is a ball and two goal posts. This is why it is popular in both, the first world countries like the UK, as well as developing countries.

The Football Association (FA) is trying to increase participation, quality and enjoyment of football for all. They have created a football initiative called ‘Ability Counts’ and say they are committed to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to play, coach, manage, referee and spectate regardless of their race, culture, religion, gender, ability, orientation, ethnicity or social status.

Football is the most popular sport in the UK and with stadiums being able to get back to full capacity once again, fans are returning to matches to roar on their team. And it is good to know that some of the football clubs tailor their facilities towards their disabled supporters and visitors with mobility issues.

At Fun Football Parties we believe that there has never been a better time to get involved and play football, whatever your ability level. The game always can be slightly adapted (like the number of players, size of the pitch, size of the goals and even size of the ball), and that’s another great attribute of football that makes it so inclusive. Our venue is easily accessible, and we pride ourselves in making sure that everyone feels the part and has some fun.
