Godstone Farm calls-on kids to help set a Guinness World Record for the most children jumping in puddles!
“Jumping up and down in muddy puddles!” if you have heard this being sung before (let’s face it, which parent hasn’t?), prepare for more of this at Godstone Farm this January. Throughout the month, Godstone Farm will be hosting a series of special puddle jumping weekends, and on Saturday 14th January 2023 the Farm is inviting kids to help set the Guinness World Record for the largest number of children jumping in puddles at any one time!
Each weekend in January there will be a range of puddle jumping activities to have a go at. From wellie throwing, and wellie boot designing, to a mega “Splash Zone” – catering for both the puddle jumping novice, to the puddle jumping pro. Kids and parents alike can splish splash their way through each challenge to climb the leader board.
CEO of Godstone Farm, Nicola Henderson comments: “We’re intending to start the year with a splash! We’re determined to show a different side to winter this January – and help us make the most of the 45 acres of playgrounds and nature that is all around us at Godstone Farm. We firmly believe in working with the weather, so with wellies and waterproofs at the ready, we’re calling on kids to help us set the Guinness World Record for the most children in a puddle at any one time!”
Nicola adds: “Of course, after all that jumping, there are plenty of opportunities to dry-off in our play barns and animal holding areas and enjoy a hot chocolate or warm lunch in the Courtyard Kitchen restaurant. Who said January was a miserable month? We’re hoping to inject a bit of fun into what can feel like a tough time of year.”
