It’s 1528. Henry VIII is off hunting the bounties available on his recently acquired Penshurst Place Estate. Back at the manor house and gardens, staff and gentry busily prepare for his return – cooking, sowing, even gossiping about the to-ing and fro-ing of their King’s relationship with the young maiden who lives across the way at Hever Castle.
Join us on 12th and 13th September and be transported back to this time of great change, meet characters including a Barber Surgeon and Tudor cook, and enjoy being a part of bringing this fascinating period of history, to life!
