Looking for Halloween half term in Kent with activities for younger children? Spooktacular Science takes over Hever Castle & Gardens from 17 October to 1 November 2026. The event includes a themed trail, hands-on crafts, an interactive science show and face painting on selected dates.
Most activities are included with admission. This makes it easy to plan a full family day around the Castle and grounds. Follow the Mad Scientist’s Trail, make your own goggles, watch Dr Frankenstein’s experiment and enjoy the autumn setting around Hever Castle.
