This summer, give your child an unforgettable experience at PQA Summer Schools – where confidence grows, friendships are made, and young performers shine!
Open to everyone aged 4–18, our exciting summer programmes welcome both PQA students and those completely new to performing arts. Whether your child dreams of performing on stage or simply wants to have fun, make friends and try something new, there is something for everyone.
Maidstone & Rochester
Join the cast of Disney’s Newsies Jr. and experience what it’s like to be part of a full-scale musical production. Students will rehearse with industry professionals, learn songs, choreography and acting skills, and perform in an exciting live show.
Our youngest performers aged 4–7 can join Let It All Out Week, a fun-filled programme packed with creativity, games, singing, dancing and storytelling. As a special bonus, children taking part will also have the opportunity to appear in the Newsies Jr. production in Maidstone or Rochester.
Tunbridge Wells
For ages 6–11, our West End Summer Camp brings the magic of Shrek and Wicked to life. Through singing, dancing, acting and creative workshops, children will build confidence, develop new skills and create lasting memories.
For ages 12–18, our West End Summer Camp explores the iconic worlds of Mean Girls and Heathers (Teen Edition). Students will work towards a showcase performance while developing their skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Students attending the West End Summer Camp will also enjoy an exclusive West End Masterclass with a professional West End performer, gaining valuable insight into the industry and learning what it takes to perform at the highest level.
Whether your child wants to star in a musical, build confidence, make new friends or simply have the best summer ever, PQA Summer Schools offer an unforgettable experience filled with creativity, fun and inspiration.

About PQA Maidstone, Rochester and Tunbridge Wells
PQA offers performing arts sessions to children, every Saturday, based at The Skinner’s Kent Academy, combining acting, singing, dancing lessons, filming, and comedy.
Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 4-18. At PQA Tunbridge Wells, we are passionate about giving children the space to be themselves, learn new skills, make new friends, all in a safe and welcome environment while they explore the world of Performing Arts. From Musical Theatre, to Comedy and Drama and Film & TV, there is something for everyone at PQA!
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA’s weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television
Led by Principal Verity and an exceptional team of teachers, we’re passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA – like confidence, resilience and communication – will stick with them throughout life!
