Invicta Karate Academy offers structured, traditional Shotokan karate classes in Sevenoaks for children, teenagers and adults, with a strong emphasis on confidence, character and steady personal development.

The academy is led by Toby Price, who began training at the age of four. After competing nationally — becoming a National Champion in 2009, Southern Areas Champion in 2011 and representing England at the World Cup — his focus today is on helping others experience the long-term benefits of disciplined training in a supportive environment.

Invicta is supported by a dedicated team of experienced instructors who share the same values of patience, structure and technical excellence. The academy is proud to currently have two students selected for the England Squad, reflecting the high standards of training available for those who wish to pursue competition.

For many parents, karate provides something increasingly valuable: a place where children learn to listen, concentrate and show respect. The Little Tigers programme (ages 4–6) introduces these foundations in a positive and encouraging setting.

As students grow, training develops resilience and focus alongside technical skill. Teenagers enjoy clear progression through the traditional belt system, while adults often join having “always wanted to try karate” or seeking something structured and purposeful for themselves.

Above all, Invicta aims to provide a calm, welcoming environment where families feel supported and students progress at their own pace.
