I am a single Mum and founder of Go Goosey, with our main product being the innovative and unique kids’ unisex quick-drying onesie. I came up with the idea after taking my adopted daughter swimming for the first time and finding the whole drying and dressing experience a nightmare and thought surely there must be an easier way. It took me 6 years to get the business off the ground as I had to source the right fabric and raise the funds. Having no fashion or retail experience, I enlisted the help of a local fashion student and we worked together on the design. The pandemic gave me the kick I needed, and we launched in September 2021.
Whilst there are similar products on the market, like drying and towelling robes, this product is different in that not only does it dry your child but also dries on them within 10 minutes so can be worn home, so no soggy towels and more importantly no tantrums. Even with the swimsuit left on, the water-repellent material dries in super quick time, leaving your children dry and warm. We have 5 different sizes from 2 – 11 years in 2 unisex colours.
