Our classes are fun, the students and instructors are all friendly and welcoming, and we’re supportive of everybody regardless of whether you have any experience, or low levels of fitness or flexibility. That’s the whole point right!? To improve yourself!

For children, our classes help to instill confidence, which has a huge positive impact on their day to day lives. This comes not just from learning self defence, but from the myriad of life lessons that are naturally embedded into the martial arts culture.

From the basics at the start of the journey, like learning to to stand tall with good posture, to put your hand up when you have the answer and be proud of it, and work in groups, communicating with your peers… up to the lessons that come further down the line, like being comfortable performing in front of others, and being able to effectively pass on your knowledge to others.

All of these lessons are hugely important, with a positive knock on effect to the inevitable life experiences of the future, like dealing with the pressures of exams, and preparing for an interview.

Many of our students who started at a very young age are now teens or adults, and some are teaching their own classes alongside their other pursuits like university or starting their careers.

So why don’t you consider martial arts.
