Kidsbury Roleplay Villages Ltd proudly announces the launch of an innovative play concept and cafe aimed at fostering creativity and developmental growth in children. Located in the popular Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells, Kidsbury Roleplay Village offers a unique, safe, and stimulating environment where children (from 1 to 7 years old) can immerse themselves in diverse role-playing scenarios designed to simulate real-world experiences.
“At Kidsbury Roleplay Villages, we are dedicated to providing an enchanting and educational experience that sparks curiosity and supports social, cognitive, and physical development through the power of role-playing,” said Tarragon Turner, Founder and Managing Director.
Inspired by their daughter, Kidsbury is the brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Sean and Tarragon Turner, who both have successful backgrounds in the world of theatre, making them perfectly suited to bring their theatrical know-how to this new venture. Unlike other role-play villages, Kidsbury will be a modern and aesthetically pleasing space where plastic is shunned in favour of wooden toys and sustainability is considered in every area of the operation. In fact, if you bring your own cup, adults can enjoy a free coffee whilst their children play.
The heart of Kidsbury is its bustling town square which is surrounded by twelve individual play zones. Each thoughtfully designed to offer children an engaging, open-ended platform for imaginative play with clear learning objectives that promote social responsibility and community engagement. Zones include staples like a supermarket, salon, and post office, as well as more unique offerings such as a dance studio, recycling plant, and gardening centre.
In addition to daily open-play sessions, Kidsbury will host a variety of additional events, including themed parties, educational workshops, parenting seminars, and special events tailored to enriching the lives of young children and their families.
“Our mission is to become the leading destination for imaginative play and early childhood development, empowering every child to explore their potential in a world of endless possibilities,” added Sean Turner, Founder and Chief Executive.
As Tunbridge Wells residents, Sean and Tarragon want to establish a beloved local presence that integrates deeply into the community fabric. Plans include offering subsidised play sessions and fostering partnerships with local schools and nurseries to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all families.
As part of their vision for the future, Kidsbury plan to expand their concept to additional locations, pioneering a new standard in role-play villages nationwide.
Bookings will open very soon. For more information about Kidsbury, visit www.kidsburyplay.com and follow @KidsburyPlay on social media.
