New for 2024 is a Rum Tasting Experience on board a steam train at the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells which takes place on 22 June 2024
The ‘Kent Rum Train’ is an event which sees the railway partner with Anno Distillers of Marden in Kent, to give passengers the opportunity to enjoy three different Anno rums while seated at their table. Canapes will also be served and are included with the rum tasting experience.
Other rums will also be available to purchase during the event including from guest distilleries. These can be ordered during the event and will be brought to your table.
Passengers will need to book in advance for this event and will be asked to arrive at the departure station in time to board the train at the time shown on their e-ticket. Once settled in one of the railway’s comfy heritage carriages passengers can enjoy the picturesque journey through the High Weald countryside while sipping their choice of rum!
Complementary mixers and ice will be at each table to allow everyone to mix their own rums in one of the Spa Valley Railway’s branded glasses which can be taken home after the event.
The ‘Kent Rum Train Experience’ is approx one hour and includes travel on a steam train, three rums, three mixers, a branded glass and canapes all for just £40 per adult.
Additional drinks can be ordered and will be served at your seat.
