Board the Wizard Express in half term at the Spa Valley Railway

Bring the family along to take a journey on the Wizard Express on 15 February 2024 to laugh at Gherkin, the plucky young wizard, as he tries to find the perfect magic wand!

Packed full of comedy, magic tricks and special treats - it’s set to be another sell-out show, departing from Tunbridge Wells West at intervals throughout the day. The performance is brought to you by Radtastic Entertainment - the guys and girls behind Red Riding Hood & Dr Frankenslime’s Trick or Treat Express.

The fun begins at Tunbridge Wells West Station where Gherkin is trying out his magic under the guidance of his teacher. We all climb aboard the magic express, ready to embark on our exciting journey -  with the wacky characters giving out activity packs and colouring pencils to all the young sorcerers.

Upon arrival at Eridge station, everybody will make their way on to the platform for a magic trick or two.

Once Gherkin has the perfect wand in his possession, everyone will board the train again, ready to journey back to Tunbridge Wells - the sorcerers handing out treats to everyone along the way.

The times shown on your ticket (09:50 and 12:30) are when you must arrive to enjoy the pre-show which is at Tunbridge Wells West station. The train will then depart Tunbridge Wells West at 10:15 or 12:55 and return 1hr and 15 mins later. Please allow 2hrs for this experience and ensure you arrive at the times shown on your tickets.
