Godstone Farm in Surrey is quite literally making a big splash into 2023! On Saturday 14th January 2023, the farm officially recorded 248 people jumping in a puddle – setting the first ever Guinness World Record for the number of people jumping in puddle at one time!
As 248 pairs of wellie boots are being washed down, and rain coats are being dried off, the puddle jumping evidence will now be sent to Guinness World Records’ official adjudicators to be formally verified. But, the muddy madness continues for the rest of the month, where Godstone Farm is hosting further special puddle jumping weekends. The farm hopes it has ‘whet’ the appetite for puddle jumping fans to come back for more, with a range of whacky wellie-based activities planned. Choose from wellie throwing, wellie boot designing, or venture into the mega “Splash Zone” – catering for both the puddle jumping novice and the puddle jumping pro. Kids and parents alike can splish splash their way through each challenge to climb the leader board.

We’re determined to encourage our visitors to embrace the Great British weather and make the most of our 45 acres of playgrounds and nature that is all around us at Godstone Farm.”
Nicola adds: “After a fantastic dose of endorphine-buzzing puddle jumping, there are plenty of opportunities to dry-off in our play barns and animal holding areas and enjoy a hot chocolate or warm lunch in the Courtyard Kitchen restaurant. But there’s even more fun planned for the rest of the month, before we gear up for spring and our Half Term events.”
