The South of England Agricultural Society is the charity behind Spring Live! and the seasonal shows at the South of England Showground in Ardingly. Founded in 1967, the Society helps people discover where their food and other products from the land come from. Its work supports agricultural education, countryside learning for children, and grants and awards for people involved in farming, horticulture and other land-based industries.
Spring Live! brings families together for a day of live and interactive entertainment, shopping and countryside activities. Visitors can meet friendly farm animals, take part in workshops, browse stalls from local and independent producers, and explore the food hall and artisan treats. There is also a funfair, and dogs on leads are welcome.
The 2027 event takes place on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April, from 9am to 5pm, at the South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex. For the latest programme and visitor information, visit the Spring Live! website.
