Balcombe and Lindfield Dance School, which is in its 20th year, provides your child the opportunity to learn ballet, tap and modern dance. Children from the age of 2 years are offered a fun introduction to the magical world of dance and encouraged to perform using familiar nursery rhymes, stories and props. Students can take part in, and perform at, local Fairs and Care Homes and students in Reception upwards can take Rainbow Awards and Graded exams in our annual NATD Exam Sessions.
Nikki Gower is a member of the internationally recognised dance organisation, The National Association of Teachers of Dancing Ltd (www.natd.org) which ensures that the highest standards of dance are maintained. Nikki qualified to teach in 1985, having trained at the Elizabeth Wood School of Dance and she returned to teaching in 1993 (Len Goodman, Craig Revel-Horwood and other ‘Strictly’ stars are Patrons). The Balcombe Dance School was founded in September 2003, and the Lindfield branch was added in January 2004. The Year 4’s to Seniors moved to the newest branch at St. Francis Social and Sports Club in Haywards Heath in 2014. All teachers are fully qualified and insured to teach, First Aid trained and DBS checked.
