London, UK: Chessington World of Adventures invites visitors to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Winter’s Tail this Christmas, offering the chance to experience the magic of the holiday season. Meet Father Christmas and his elves, enjoy festive experiences, and delight in the seasonal atmosphere with family and friends.

Guests will embark on their magical adventure in the Christmas Village – new for 2024 – guided by friendly elves through a snowy forest to a cosy, woodfire-lit grotto. Inside, the atmosphere is set with twinkling lights and a crackling fire. Father Christmas awaits in his grotto, ready to listen to Christmas wishes and spread joy to all who visit. To keep excited children busy while waiting to meet Santa, there is also a festive silent disco, with a choice between Elf FM and more traditional Christmas songs. The Christmas Village is also selling a selection of cosy Christmas food, including hot chocolate, mulled wine and carvery.

The enchantment continues with a visit to Enchanted Hollow, the underground town where the elves have set up their toy workshop this year and will be ready with a gift for this year’s deserving ‘good list’ kids. Little ones can help the elves make the toys and advent calendars in the workshop.

Entertainment takes centre stage at the Christmas Panto, where resident show SEATOPIA is given a seasonal “he’s behind you!” twist, ensuring holiday cheer for all ages. And throughout the park thrill-seekers can enjoy a selection of their favourite rides and attractions, from Trawler Trouble to Mandrill Mayhem.

Animal lovers have the opportunity for a close encounter with Father Christmas’ beloved reindeer with Chessington’s ‘Feed the Reindeer’ experience available from £30 per person.

Chessington’s mainstay rides and attractions will also be open for guests to enjoy, including Mandill Mayhem and the World of Jumanji, The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, Blue Barnacle and Room on the Broom – A Magical Journey.

Visitors looking to extend their adventure can enjoy a festive sleepover at the Azteca and Safari Resort Hotels. To start the children’s day with wonder guests can add extra magic with a special ‘elf wake-up call’, plus an early Christmas present. And for an immersive experience guests can choose from themed rooms such as Room on the Broom, The Gruffalo, OREO and Capri-Sun.
