Step into the spotlight this Summer.
Inspired by the story behind Wicked and The Wizard of Oz, 11 – 15 yr olds will spend 3 days exploring the fantastical characters in this classic tale of good and evil, firing up their imaginations to act, dance, create props and costumes, and try out visual and sound effects to tell their own story of an extraordinary land and an unlikely friendship. Waitress, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, Dear Evan Hansen and Six have all been on our stage – and now it’s your child’s turn to spend three days on stage and backstage at our famous theatre creating their own bit of theatrical magic that family and friends can see on the last day!
This fun filled course runs from 10am – 4pm on Wednesday 5 – Friday 7 August, step through the stage door and on to the stage for a welcoming, inclusive and inspiring experience for children and young people of all abilities.
Bring your pack lunch, water bottle, imagination and creativity – we’ll supply the rest!
