Come and join us on Sunday 12th July 2026 for our inaugural Dylan Strong Foundation Walk. This is a laid-back 10k walk through the beautiful grounds of Denbies Vineyard and the stunning countryside surrounding it.
Dylan loved the outdoors. He was active boy who enjoyed laughing with family and friends, and people being together so this event is the perfect nod to our brilliant boy.
We wanted to create an annual event that felt welcoming and inclusive, and was affordable for people to all get involved. Not a race (but by all means jazz it up in your own way if you want to!) Just a lovely day where people of all ages can come together, walk, chat, enjoy the sunshine we hope and raise vital funds for families facing childhood cancer along the way.
Whether you come with the kids, your friends, grandparents, work colleagues, or the dog on a lead everyone is welcome.
Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children, and if you’re able to, we’d love each person taking part to aim to raise around £50 in sponsorship too. You can either use our shared fundraising page for the event, or even set up your own and see how much you can raise.
Please don’t feel pressured. We know everyone’s circumstances are different, and simply turning up and being part of the day already means so much to us. This walk is about community and fundraising together.
If we all managed to raise funds together collectively we could help support so many more families across the UK with nutritional support, healthy food, and practical help during childhood cancer treatment, something that became incredibly important during Dylan’s own journey.
Dylan was full of life. Football obsessed, constantly on the move, always smiling, and happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. The foundation was created as his legacy, and this walk feels like such a special way to honour him doing something positive, with family in the outdoors, and most importantly, together.
