Welcome to Child’s Play Pre-School!

Child’s Play Pre-School opened in April 2008 and is owned and managed by two local parents, Thea Arthur and Susan Raftery.

Child’s Play has a great location in the United Reformed Church on Portsmouth Road. We are directly opposite St Nicolas’ Infant School (with whom we have very strong links), and a 5 minute walk into the centre of town.  We also have parking facilities for parents who need to drive. We have a lovely bright, airy room where the children enjoy free play throughout the morning and an outside area which is always available to the children.

We are open 5 days a week and offer all types of funding – 15 hours/30 hours/FEET/ Childcare Vouchers/ Tax Free Childcare.
