Superstar Farrier Sam Dracott has announced his very first charity polo cup match, and the squad is shaping up very nicely indeed! Not only does Channel 4’s Made in Chelsea star James Taylor and Love Island winner Paige Turley make an appearance, but also some very popular equestrian names too. Harlow White, Meg Elphick,  Silly Prune and Demir have also been announced.

The highly anticipated polo event launches on Saturday 18th October at Ash Farm Polo in Ottershaw, Surrey – and it’s all in aid of Redwings Horse Sanctuary. With tickets starting at just £39 and Under 5’s free, this is a great affordable fundraising day out for the whole family.

There will be public meet and greet’s with players for all ticket holders on the day, so make sure to purchase early to avoid disappointment, as there are only 120 on sale (and all of the proceeds go to the charity).

Redwings will be at the event sharing information with all the guests on how to adopt and fundraise – not to mention there will a special welcoming committee for the public and players in the form of two of their Shetland ponies!

With cocktails on offer from The Thirsty Farrier and food available from a local artisian pizzeria, visitors will have time to eat and drink to their hearts content while soaking in the fun and watching their favourite stars go head-to-head in a round of entertaining chukkas.

There will be a handful of special stalls there on the day as well as a post-match awards ceremony, with special thanks extended to Albion Saddlemakers, Black Hound Sports and Bad Cowgirl for their contributions.

Gates open to the public at 12pm and there will be team public polo lessons held on the field, player meet and greets, the Dracott Cup chukkas, player awards and a prize-winning competition. Gates close at 6pm.

Tickets are available now from https://www.samdracottfarrier.com/the-dracott-cup and start from £39 with proceeds going directly to Redwings Horse Sanctuary.
