At Turning Pointe School of Dance, we strive to pass our passion for dance onto our students, through high-quality training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acro, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. We welcome children aged 18 months all the way up to 18 years, including teenage beginners. We are a well-established school with a 60-year history in the area, and we pride ourselves on nurturing the individual talents of our students to help them achieve their potential. Our pupils have the opportunity to take exams in RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap, and Acrobatic Arts if they wish to do so, but these are not compulsory. Every two years we put on a show for our lower school pupils (ages 3-8), giving parents the opportunity to watch their children shine onstage, and we stage a separate production for our older students (age 8+) in a professional theatre. We offer trial classes, so that new students can experience the exciting range of classes we offer for their particular age group.
