The Vic Forster Scout Centre is conveniently situated in Franklands Village, Haywards Heath. It is available to hire at weekends and some evenings. It includes its own gated car park, hall, meeting room, fully equipped kitchen, large patio and garden. It has recently been improved in many respects and we like to offer it to the local community at very reasonable discounted rates. The Main Hall is air conditioned and is sized: Length 12.5m (40’10”) x Width 10.5m (34’6″) x Height 3.1m (10’2″).

This safe and secluded venue is suitable for children’s parties and other family events, exercise classes, group meetings, theatre, filming, local clubs and similar.

We do have ramps for wheel chair access. The hall opens out onto a large patio with a view over the Frankland Village recreation field.

We do not permit unaccompanied teenage parties, Halloween events, sale of alcohol or unsupervised activities.

Car parking adjacent to the building is available, there is a local bus stop by the entrance to
Franklands Village and the Princess Royal bus stop is within a short walk.

Standing Reception: 220 Guests
Theatre & Cinema Style: 130 Guests
Banquet & Formal Dining: 85 Guests
Dinner Dance (with floor space): 65 Guest

All money raised by hall hire is ring fenced to go to the Scout Group’s sections – towards funding
such as camps, outings and other various activities for our 60+ young people.
