At Burgess Hill Nursery, we provide a warm, supportive, and stimulating environment for girls and boys aged 2½ to 4 years. Nestled within the same building as our Pre-Prep Reception class at Burgess Hill Girls, many of our children benefit from a smooth and familiar transition as they continue their educational journey.
We understand that flexibility is essential for families. That’s why we’re open 51 weeks a year, from 8.00am to 6.00pm, offering full-time, part-time, term-time, and school day hours (8.30am – 3.50pm). As many of our dedicated staff are working parents themselves, we truly appreciate the challenges of childcare and aim to make life that little bit easier for the families we support.
Our vibrant nursery is a place where young children thrive. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which incorporates the seven key areas of learning as set out in the Early Learning Goals. These goals align with the National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies, ensuring our children build strong foundational skills. But more than that, we nurture confidence and a willingness to ‘have a go’. We believe that early childhood should be a time for joyful exploration, where every child is encouraged to embrace all that nursery life has to offer.
We place great emphasis on high-quality teaching, ongoing assessment, and individualised learning.
