Haywards Heath Town Council is inviting residents to share their positive stories as part of a new community initiative, Hometown Highlights.
Designed to celebrate the people, achievements, and everyday moments that make Haywards Heath such a special place to live, Hometown Highlights offers residents the chance to shine a light on the good news happening across the town and surrounding areas.
Whether it’s a personal achievement, a kind gesture, a successful community project, or an event that has brought people together, the Town Council wants to hear from you. The initiative aims to capture and share uplifting stories that might otherwise go unnoticed, helping to spread positivity and strengthen community spirit.
Selected submissions will be featured across the Town Council’s social media channels, showcasing the individuals, groups, and organisations who contribute so much to life in Haywards Heath.
A spokesperson for Haywards Heath Town Council said:
“Hometown Highlights is all about celebrating the positive stories that happen every day in our community. From small acts of kindness to major achievements, we know there is so much to be proud of in Haywards Heath. We’re encouraging residents to get involved and help us share those moments that bring people together and make a difference.”
Residents can take part by tagging the Town Council in their social media posts or by sending their stories directly via email to [email protected]. Submissions should include at least one photo where possible, and please ensure that everyone featured in the image has given permission for it to be shared.
The Town Council looks forward to receiving submissions and sharing the stories that help make Haywards Heath a vibrant, supportive, and connected community.
