Burgess Hill Nursery Expanding To Meet Growing Demand

Burgess Hill Girls plans to expand its popular co‑educational Nursery with the introduction of new Pre‑School classes from September 2026.

The school is delighted to announce the expansion of its co‑educational Nursery, to meet the increasing demand for Early Years places. The new provision will create additional space within the Nursery, allowing the school to further enrich its Early Years offering and ensure every child continues to thrive in a vibrant, nurturing and well‑resourced environment. Children will remain in the care of the school’s highly experienced and dedicated Early Years practitioners, whose expertise underpins the Nursery’s excellent reputation.

The quality of the Nursery was recently recognised in an Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection, which noted:

“In the early years, leaders design purposeful, appropriate programmes that link movement, regulation and early learning. This successfully promotes children’s physical, social and emotional development along with their communication and language skills.”

Head Heather Cavanagh commented:

“This development builds on the fantastic reputation of our Nursery and school, a reputation made possible through the dedication of our outstanding Nursery practitioners and the continued support of our families. We are excited about the opportunities this expansion brings and the benefits it will provide for our youngest learners.”

For families seeking a Nursery where children feel happy, confident and genuinely supported during their early development, book a visit to see the Nursery in action.
