Haywards Heath Town Council is calling on local businesses, community groups, sports clubs and football enthusiasts to sign up for this year’s Mayor’s Charity Football Tournament, taking place at Hanbury Stadium on Friday 24 July.
Hosted and supported by Haywards Heath Town Football Club, the event promises an afternoon of friendly competition, family fun and community spirit, all while raising funds for the Mayor’s chosen charity, Kangaroos Fun Disability Clubs.
The 5-a-side tournament will run from 12.30pm until 5.00pm, with teams of up to six players invited to enter for £60 per team. Spectator entry is free, making it a great day out for families, friends and supporters.
In addition to the football action, visitors can enjoy a range of activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon, including a BBQ, raffle and tombola, children’s activities, and music from Giggle Beats.

Haywards Heath Town Football Club has generously partnered with the Town Council to host the tournament at Hanbury Stadium, helping to create a fun and inclusive event that brings the community together while supporting an important local cause.
Kangaroos Mid Sussex provides social and recreational activities for children, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, creating opportunities for friendship, confidence-building and fun in a safe and supportive environment.
