Free Family Fun as Spring Into Summer Comes Back to Haywards Heath

Families, friends, stallholders, and entertainers will gather at Muster Green on Sunday 7th June as Haywards Heath Town Council brings back its popular Spring Into Summer event, a free community celebration marking the start of the warmer season.

From 1.30 – 4.00pm, the event promises a vibrant mix of activities, entertainment, and local attractions for all ages. Families can look forward to classic favourites including fairground rides, face painting, balloon modelling, circus skills workshops, and crazy golf, alongside a delicious selection of ice cream to enjoy in the sunshine.

At the heart of the event, the arena will host a vibrant programme of live performances throughout the day, showcasing a variety of local talent. Audiences can look forward to performances from PQA Haywards Heath, Baby Ballet, Fuego Gymnastics, Tai Chi with Grove Garden, and an end show from the much-loved Marco the Magician, who is set to take to the stage at 3.30pm, captivating audiences with his popular blend of humour, illusion, and audience participation.

Alongside the entertainment, visitors will be able to browse a range of stalls featuring local businesses, crafts, community organisations, and charities, offering everything from handmade goods to information and activities for all ages.

Haywards Heath Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, will be opening the event and shared:

“Spring Into Summer is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and enjoy everything that makes Haywards Heath such a great place to live. It’s always wonderful to see families enjoying the activities, supporting local stallholders, and soaking up the atmosphere on Muster Green. I look forward to welcoming everyone on the day.”

Haywards Heath Town Council would like to thank Belvoir and South East Water for sponsoring the event, and to everyone who is involved in making the event possible. Spring Into Summer continues to be a much-loved fixture in the town’s calendar, bringing the community together to celebrate the start of summer.
