Haywards Heath Town Council is delighted to announce the return of its “Leave No One Behind at Christmas” campaign for 2025.
The festive season is a time of joy and togetherness, but for some – particularly elderly or vulnerable members of our community – it can also be a period of loneliness and hardship. Through this campaign, the Town Council aims to share kindness and support by connecting residents with local organisations offering help over the Christmas period, and makes sure that no one is left without a thoughtful gift to open.
We are inviting the local community to take part by donating items for our festive gift packages. Suggested donations include:
- Tinned soup
- Packets of biscuits (sweet or savoury)
- Tea bags, instant coffee, or hot chocolate sachets
- Mince pies
- Selection packs
- Christmas chocolates (such as chocolate coins)
All donated items should be of good quality, with a best before date no earlier than January 2026.
Donations can be dropped off at:
- Haywards Heath Town Hall, 40 Boltro Road, RH16 1BA
- The Dolphin Leisure Centre, Pasture Hill Road, RH16 1LY
Please ensure all donations are received before 24th November.
Cllr Nick Chapman, Chair of Environment and General Purposes committee, said: “It was heartwarming to see the joy we brought to those who spent last year alone, and I am proud that this campaign is running again for the upcoming festive season. We want to make sure that no one feels forgotten. Every small act of generosity makes a difference.”
Haywards Heath Town Council extends heartfelt thanks to all who support this initiative. Together, we can make Christmas a little brighter for everyone.
