October is ADHD Awareness month

October is ADHD Awareness month, and I was wondering if you might be interested in interviewing or taking a guest article from ADHD expert, counsellor and campaigner, Sarah Templeton. Sarah herself was unexpectedly diagnosed with ADHD at age 51.

Sarah’s experience and understanding of the challenges she has faced has driven her to specialise in helping children and adults with ADHD and she is passionate about improving their lives. During her career, she has worked in many prisons, and is concerned about the enormous number of diagnosed & undiagnosed ADHD people who end up behind bars. Determined to reverse this situation, she has dedicated her life to helping children, teachers, law enforcement and parents at the root of the problem - to understand and learn the very best ways to manage ADHD.

Sarah is available for interview and to write guest articles on topics including:

  • Diagnosed with ADHD at 51: my story
  • Go to Jail, Pass Go: Why so many young offenders have ADHD and what we can do about it.
  • 5 problems that could indicate ADHD in adults
  • 7 signs your child might have ADHD
  • The Do’s and Don’ts for parenting a child with ADHD
  • What you should NOT say to an ADHD child
  • 5 tips & strategies to managing ADHD children and teens

If you are interested in taking an article or would like an interview or expert comment, do let me know – happy to help however I can.

Sarah is also author of new book How Not to Murder Your ADHD Kid which is an essential guide that explains everything about ADHD and teaches how to handle challenging situations with actionable strategies. If you’d like a review copy, let me know. For more information about Sarah Templeton and her book, see the press release copied below.
