For many children, the pressure and intensity of traditional sports can often take away the most important element: the fun. Local parents and new business owners, Kamran and Gintare, are on a mission to change that with the launch of Active Future Brighton.
“Our goal is simple,” says Kamran. “We want to create an environment where kids can fall in love with being active through play, not through drills and pressure.”
This philosophy was on full display at their sold-out Launch Open Day last weekend at BHASVIC. Over 50 local families were treated to an afternoon of high-energy fun, with epic NERF battles, fast-paced dodgeball, and classic team games. The event was a huge success, with parents and children alike joining in the organised chaos.
Unlike traditional sports clubs, Active Future focuses on a variety of non-traditional activities. Their first weekly Multi-Sport Games Club, launching in Patcham on October 1st, will see children taking on a new adventure each week, from building forts for a NERF battle to competing in fun dodgeball tournaments.
“It’s all about building confidence, developing teamwork, and making sure every child leaves with a smile on their face,” adds Gintare.
Active Future Brighton is offering 2 free taster sessions for their new Patcham club, as well as running NERF birthday parties and holiday camps, book here.
