A fun Rainbow Kaleidoscope-Making Workshop at Chichester Cinema.
Inspired by the animated film ARCO this 90-minute workshop invites children aged 6+ to explore the magic of light, colour and moving images.
Part of Chichester Cinema’s A Greener Screen, get creative with colour, light and pattern in this playful workshop with Saskia van Roomen of Small World Cinema.
Inspired by the film Arco which is screening before the workshop, children will experiment with mirrors, patterns and prisms using a specially designed giant kaleidoscope, before designing and making their own rainbow kaleidoscope and colourful spinning top to take home.
It is recommended to watch Arco before the workshop, but it’s not essential. This wonderful, colourful first feature animation from Ugo Bienvenu and produced by Natalie Portman, follows two children affected by climate catastrophes.
