Stress Free Travel for Autistic Families Starts Here

For many families, a holiday is a time to relax, recharge, and reconnect. But for autistic travellers, the idea of a holiday can often feel overwhelming — crowded airports, sensory overload, and sudden changes in routine can turn travel into a source of stress. Over the years I have worked with many neurodivergent families who have all had different needs and have worked together to make their holidays a success and as stress free as possible.  Whilst it can always be a challenge, putting small things in place to make things easier can also make the holiday very rewarding.

That’s where I come in. As your independent personal travel professional, I specialise in helping families find the right holiday experiences to suit their individual needs, and I’m proud to partner with trusted names like TUI, who are leading the way in creating more inclusive, autistic-friendly travel.

Why Choose to book an Autistic-Friendly Holiday with myself?

  • Accommodations with spacious areas so no one feels uncomfortable and everyone has personal space.
  • Preferred seating on the aircraft, special assistance at the airport and fast track security all makes the airport procedure much easier.
  • If in resort with a theme park like Disney etc information on getting a ride pass etc and the local procedure obtaining one.
  • Nanny services in some resorts  for 1-2-1 childcare

Our partner Tui has made real strides in designing holidays that are welcoming, supportive, and manageable for autistic guests. When you book through me, I’ll guide you through every detail to ensure your holiday is relaxing, not overwhelming, including information at the airport and how to make this more stress free.

Here’s how I can make a difference

1. Tailored Pre-Travel Support

I can provide access to visual travel guides, airport walkthroughs, and detailed destination info to help you and your family prepare in advance. Together, we’ll plan a trip that feels calm and predictable — with no surprises.

2. Sensory-Aware Resorts and Hotels Through our carefully selected partners, I’ll help you find resorts that offer quieter settings, flexible mealtimes, and staff trained in autism awareness. Some properties even offer dedicated quiet zones and adapted entertainment schedules.

3. Stress-Free Flights and Airport Assistance

Need fast-track security? Prefer to board early or wait in a quiet room? I can arrange those extras for you. Many airports now offer Sunflower Lanyards, and I’ll help make sure you have all the tools and support needed before you even leave home.

4. 24/7 Peace of Mind

When you book with me, you’re never on your own. I’ll be just a phone call or message away during your trip, and so are the Tui trained reps in many destinations, ready to offer friendly, on-the-ground assistance.

Every autistic individual is different — and that’s why your holiday should be, too. As an independent travel professional, I take the time to get to know you and your family’s preferences, sensitivities, and routines so we can build a trip that truly fits your needs. I have the knowledge of more peaceful resorts – avoiding noisy loud in your face entertainment or ensuring there is a quiet zone to be able to retreat too.

Whether it’s a quiet beach retreat, a structured resort experience, or a sensory-considerate city break, I’ll find the right match.

Your journey starts with a conversation. Let’s create a holiday that celebrates comfort, calm, and joy — without the stress.

Let me take care of the planning, so you can focus on making memories.

Tips for Families at the airport include:

  • Visual Supports:

Create visual schedules or social stories to help understand the travel process and reduce anxiety about the unknown.

  • Comfort Items:

Pack familiar and comforting items like noise-cancelling headphones, fidget toys, or favourite snacks to manage sensory sensitivities and provide a sense of security. As well as favourite toy.

  • Ease at the Airport – I would automatically add on request for you for special assistance and this means where possible either early boarding or some families prefer to board later so more time spent in the quiet area of the airport, seat selection, fast track security.
