Guilfest returns to Stoke Park in June

After a break of 10 long years, the much-anticipated return of GuilFest to Stoke Park on the 29th and 30th of June 2024 already has people talking. The festival was a standing fixture in the diaries of Guildford residents for 22 years until it’s last event in the town in 2014, and after a brief but successful stop-off at the Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Cranleigh last year, Guilfest is back at its rightful home on Stoke Park this summer!

From Hometown Heroes to Rising Stars

The line-up for GuilFest 2024 reads like a musical odyssey, a journey through genres and eras that will resonate with both the nostalgic and the contemporary ear. Guildford's very own "heroes," The Stranglers, will headline the main stage on Saturday, promising a night of rock anthems that defined an era. Joining them is the enigmatic "Spaceman" himself, Sam Ryder, set to cast his cosmic spell over the audience as the Sunday night headliner.

The diversity of the 2024 line-up is striking, featuring Bob Vylan, Black Grape, The Blockheads, The Skints, Elvana, Pogue Traders, Alex Party, Eddie & The Hot Rods, JX, Voodoo Radio, Urban Cookie Collective, and the Spice Girls Experience on Saturday. Sunday will see iconic acts like Peter Hook and the Light, From The Jam, BOYZLIFE, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, Bootleg Beatles, T. REX, Lil Mix, and The Devout. It's a blend that promises something for every music aficionado.

Beyond the Beats: A Multifaceted Festival Experience

GuilFest 2024 isn’t so much just a music festival as a holistic experience that goes beyond just the music, making the festival a must-attend event for all, including families looking for a fantastic day out. The five stages hosting an array of musical genres are just the tip of the iceberg. The festival grounds will come alive with The Cosmic Comedy Tent, Tropical Disco, and an Art & Craft Village with workshops that promise to stimulate your creativity. Street theatre across the site, complemented by the enticing aromas of delicious world cuisine from the festival's diverse food stalls.

For those seeking respite, the Rustic Beer & Real Ale Bar, Literary Tent with intriguing talks, Cocktail Bar, Healing Field & Wellness Area, and a Cinema Tent offer chance to stop and relax.
