This year, Horsham Children’s Parade will be \u2018Celebrating Childhood\u2019<\/strong> o<\/strong>n Sunday 5th July 2026. Hundreds of children from across Horsham District will showcase their creations and costumes made in workshops with professional community artists.<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Expect to see the joys of childhood celebrated through a fun mix of games, toys, events, activities, and treats. The line-up of giant models and costumes will include a teddy bears picnic, birthday party,\u00a0magic show,\u00a0fairground attraction,\u00a0bedtime story, kite flying, snakes & ladders, and much more!<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Bring your best dance moves as local drumming band Boom Tribe, plus Brighton School of Samba, Celebration Samba and the Kings of Dhol will be delivering their infectious carnival vibes to the streets of Horsham once more.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Parade organiser Aleida Strowger, founder of Community Arts Organisation, Happy Accidents, said:<\/p>

\u201c<\/em>What better way to celebrate the creativity of children in our district than through the theme of childhood. It\u2019s a great reminder to have fun and appreciate the toys, games, events and past-times that bring us together as friends, family and community through these important and precious moments.<\/em> We\u2019re extremely excited to see what this year brings!<\/em><\/p>

\u201cNone of this would be possible without the amazing team at community arts organisation, <\/em>Same Sky<\/em><\/a>, who work hard to ensure that this is a well-organised, fun and inspiring event for the whole community to enjoy.<\/em><\/p>

\u201cEach year it\u2019s touch and go as to whether or not we can raise the funds required to make this joyous event happen and we are extremely grateful to our amazing supporters who made it possible for another year. Massive thanks to our grant givers, <\/em>Arts Council England<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Horsham District Council<\/em><\/a> and <\/em>Shanly Foundation<\/em><\/a>. We are delighted too that childcare provider <\/em>Rocketeers<\/em><\/a> returned as our main sponsor and <\/em>Saxon Weald<\/em><\/a> as a secondary sponsor.\u201d <\/em><\/p>

The parade will start at 11am in Denne Road and end at 12noon in Horsham Park where it will mark the opening of the Rotary Club\u2019s Funday Sunday, and is FREE TO WATCH!<\/p>
