The nurseries offer a wide range of plants, including cottage-garden favourites, shade-loving plants, alpines, trees, shrubs, succulents, and more, along with a diverse array of interesting and unusual varieties that are often hard to find.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The event, which will take place from 10am-5pm in the stunning castle grounds, enables visitors to purchase locally cultivated plants from knowledgeable growers, as well as get free advice directly from the growers themselves and the Plant Fair Doctor. Visitors can also take the opportunity to explore Arundel Castle\u2019s gardens, which won the prestigious Historic Houses Garden of the Year Award in 2025 in recognition of their outstanding horticultural and public appeal.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Martin Duncan, Head Gardener at Arundel Castle, commented:<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>&#8220;The Plant Fairs offer an excellent chance for visitors to wander through the picturesque gardens and grounds of the castle while uncovering fascinating plants to elevate their own outdoor spaces. Whether they&#8217;re seasoned gardeners or novices, the fair caters to all, providing something enriching for every attendee.&#8221;<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Over 20 exhibitors will be taking part in the 2026 Arundel Castle Plant Fair, including Bearded Gnome Nursery, a new micro nursery situated on the Knepp Estate, specialising in exotic and sub-tropical plants; and Daisy Roots, a small, independent nursery growing a wide range of perennials and ornamental grasses. Joining them are Grow Local Sussex, based near Lewes, which grows and sells herbs and heritage\/heirloom vegetable plants; and LBD Plants, which has over 25 years\u2019 growing experience, including exhibiting at RHS Chelsea.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Long Acre Plants will be showcasing its woodland and shade-loving plants, while Ottershaw Cacti, the proud holder of over 40 RHS gold medals, will be on hand to answer all queries about succulents.
