Designed to inspire and empower young writers, performers and filmmakers, this year&#8217;s workshop promises to be an unforgettable experience filled with creativity, learning and lots of fun.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecapitolhorsham.com\/whats-on\/all-shows\/movie-in-a-week-workshop-2024\/21646\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Movie In A Week<\/a> is set to take place from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August right in the heart of The Capitol Theatre&#8217;s main stage. Led by theatre practitioners <strong>Poppy Marples<\/strong> and <strong>Megan Bewley<\/strong>, this immersive workshop is tailored for ages 11-16 (school years 7-11 from Sept 2024) and runs from 10am to 4pm daily.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will embark on a journey writing their own script, creating unique characters, sourcing &amp; designing props for a play to be filmed whilst learning Acting for Camera skills., From filming on their iPhones to editing on a laptop, students will discover how to create cinematic masterpieces on a budget, unlocking their potential as storytellers in the digital age.<\/p>\n<p>With flexible payment options available, including a 50% deposit to secure their spot, Movie In A Week offers an accessible and affordable way for young filmmakers to unleash their creativity and hone their skills.\u00a0 Spaces are limited, so The Capitol recommends booking early.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poppy<\/strong> <strong>Marples<\/strong> said\u00a0 \u201cWe&#8217;re thrilled to introduce a brand new feature for this summer: a dazzling red carpet event.
