Adm \u00a37, chd free. Home-made teas<\/p>\n<p>A formal front garden with a sunken centrepiece and rose and flower beds, approx 1\u20442 acre in size. The large rear garden consists of a small wood, a croquet lawn with beds, a natural swimming pond, and a large summerhouse. There is also a small orchard and meadow, along with a walled area by the pickleball court. Many interesting trees, including a 500 year old sweet chestnut.<\/p>\n<p>Occasionally garden openings are cancelled please always check on the NGS <a href=\"https:\/\/ngs.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>\u00a0before visiting a garden.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors The National Garden Scheme have donated over \u00a377.8 million to nursing and health charities and in 2025 made an annual donation of over \u00a33.8 million. The core beneficiaries include Carers Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Parkinson\u2019s UK and The Queen\u2019s Institute of Community Nursing.<\/p>\n<p>The National Garden Scheme doesn\u2019t just open beautiful gardens for charity \u2013 they are passionate about the physical and mental health benefits of gardens too.
