Visits also by arrangement 20 May to 4 Sept for groups of 6 to 20.<\/p>\n<p>A quintessential English cottage garden, packed with a mix of perennials and bulbs, set on a potentially challenging, multi-layered site. Comprising four distinct rooms, including a small roof terrace, a top terrace sitting above the house garden, and a vegetable garden built in what was once a small swimming pool. Every square inch has been used.<\/p>\n<p>Occasionally garden openings need to be cancelled please always check on the NGS <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ngs.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of garden owners, volunteers and visitors The National Garden Scheme have donated over \u00a377.8 million to nursing and health charities and in 2025 made an annual donation of over \u00a33.8 million. The core beneficiaries include Carers Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Parkinson\u2019s UK and The Queen\u2019s Institute of Community Nursing.<\/p>\n<p>The National Garden Scheme doesn\u2019t just open beautiful gardens for charity \u2013 they are passionate about the physical and mental health benefits of gardens too.
