The new research from DYMO – the leading label maker – shows that the 18th August is the perfect day for parents to start prepping to get kids ready to go back to school.
However, with over half (55%) of parents spending an average of £189 per child to get them ready for a new school term, costs can soon add up, especially when items go missing and children accidently swap uniforms or leave stationary behind.
The research also shows that:
- A massive 69% of British parents label everything to make sure no school items go missing when kids start school after summer
- One in four parents admit that prepping their children for September is more stressful that prepping for Christmas!
- 75% dread dragging their children round the shops as they find it utterly exhausting
- Over half (55%) worry not everything they buy will last the entire year due to damages and lost items
To take away some of the pressure, DYMO has launched the new DYMO Bluetooth® Label Maker, available on Amazon and other sites.
