\"\"The Collective is launching its new Pudstars Dessert Yoghurts and Supercharged Suckies this September and October, and both I and my six year old were more than happy to take on the difficult<\/em> job of taste\u2011testing them.<\/strong><\/p>

Pudstars and Suckies are dessert inspired yoghurts designed to bring the flavours of favourite puddings into a healthier, child\u2011friendly format.\u00a0 Pudstars are made with live whole milk yoghurt, real fruit and no artificial ingredients, and are aimed at children aged 4\u20138.\u00a0 That said, once you\u2019ve tried them, the kids may struggle to get a look in, they\u2019re genuinely really good (N.B. The Collective does make grown\u2011up yoghurts too!).<\/p>

The Pudstars range launches with four flavours: Apple Crumble<\/strong>, Banana & Custard<\/strong>, Strawberries & Cream<\/strong> and Vanilla Custard<\/strong>.<\/p>

\"\"I\u2019m not a regular yoghurt eater and my six\u2011year\u2011old only has them occasionally these days, but we were both won over immediately. The packaging is bright, fun and appealing, the kind that tempts you before it even reaches the fridge.\u00a0 When they hit the shelves, the sleeves will also include jokes, puzzles and colouring activities, which is a nice touch.<\/p>

The taste test began with the Apple Crumble flavour, and it genuinely tasted like the real thing.\u00a0 The gentle hint of cinnamon gave me an unexpected wave of nostalgia, and the yoghurt itself had the perfect texture, it was creamy, fresh and surprisingly filling, and all without any sense of guilt.<\/p>

My son approached the Banana & Custard pot cautiously, tried a bit, paused, took a second spoonful, paused, and then announced it was \u201creally good\u201d, which was solid praise from him.\u00a0 He then finished the pot without any further conversation.<\/p>

\"\"Each Pudstar pot is just the right size: satisfying for an adult, but still leaving you wanting a little more.\u00a0 Luckily, we had two more flavours to try, and my younger taste\u2011tester was keen to continue his \u201creviewing<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0 Strawberries & Cream and Vanilla Custard disappeared faster than planned and were both excellent.\u00a0 In short all of the flavours delivered on providing a traditional pudding experience wrapped up in a great yoghurt.<\/p>

The Collective is also expanding its Suckies range with two new flavours offering added nutritional benefits:<\/p>

Both Pudstars and the new Suckies will be available in supermarkets from around 5 October, with the Suckies arriving at Sainsbury\u2019s in mid\u2011September. We genuinely loved them and will happily buy them for the whole family once they\u2019re out.<\/p>

They\u2019re ideal for children and just the right size to be versatile, perfect as a dessert, snack, breakfast option or lunchbox filler.\u00a0 As a parent, I\u2019ll be very comfortable with my children enjoying them.<\/p>
