This summer, families, couples and day-trippers are invited to step aboard the Spa Valley Railway in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and enjoy a nostalgic journey through the glorious High Weald. Travelling between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge, passengers can relax in heritage carriages, take in beautiful countryside views, and enjoy a memorable day out that combines vintage charm with fresh air, relaxation and fun.<\/p>

With children under 15 travelling free with a fare-paying adult on Green timetable days, and dogs welcome free of charge, the Spa Valley Railway offers an easy and affordable way to make the most of the school holidays. From spotting wildlife and wildflowers from the window to hopping off to explore charming stations along the line, every journey promises something special.<\/p>

With all-day tickets, visitors can hop on and off to explore Royal Tunbridge Wells, Groombridge, High Rocks and Eridge. From the play park near Groombridge Station to the sandstone outcrops at High Rocks and scenic countryside walks, each stop offers something different to enjoy.<\/p>

Passengers looking to make even more of their visit can enjoy one of the railway\u2019s popular dining experiences, from traditional Afternoon Tea and Cream Tea to hearty lunches and speciality favourites including the Kent Cheese Train.<\/p>

A full programme of seasonal experiences adds extra sparkle to a summer day out, including visits to nearby vineyards such as Birchden Vineyard in Groombridge and Wildwood Vineyard in Eridge.<\/p>

On board, a bar or buffet car serves a selection of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks alongside light refreshments, while tea, coffee and ice creams are also available from kiosks at Groombridge and Eridge. It\u2019s a classic British day out with all the little extras that make it easy to sit back, unwind and enjoy the ride.<\/p>

All children aged 0\u201315 years travel free when accompanied by a full-fare-paying adult, and dogs travel free too.<\/p>

Train tickets: Adult – \u00a316, Senior (60+) – \u00a315, Child (2-15yrs) \u2013 free, Family (2 Adults + 2 Children) \u00a332, Unaccompanied child under 15 – \u00a39.<\/p>

Train tickets are available from the ticket offices on the day of travel, or visitors can save time by booking in advance via the Spa Valley Railway website. Advance booking is recommended for dining trains and special experiences.<\/p>

Dining experiences available to book in advance include Afternoon Tea, Cream Tea, Fish and Chip, Ploughman\u2019s and Sausage and Mash events, as well as popular themed experiences such as Whisky Trains, Gin Trains, Cheese Trains, Murder Mystery evenings and Faulty Towers dining events.<\/p>
