We were thrilled to receive free tickets to Kent Life to experience their Christmas offering this year, in exchange for a review, so read on for more information!\u00a0 Please note that we’re passionate about providing honest reviews for families.<\/p>

\"\"We\u2019re spoiled in Kent and the surrounding areas for some fantastic Christmas Grottos and festive events, one of which is at Kent Life Heritage Farm in Maidstone.\u00a0 We\u2019ve been to Kent Life a couple of times before and always loved it, but this was our first festive visit.\u00a0<\/p>

At any time of year, the farm is stooped in history, originally the Museum of Kent it was a working heritage farm celebrating everything Kentish.\u00a0 It features a \u2018Vintage Village\u2019, gardens and a host of livestock throughout.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

During their festive extravaganza you can find all sorts of Christmas activities throughout the farm.<\/p>

\"\"From putting together your own reindeer food bag (essential for fuelling Santa’s reindeer), building a teddy bear, attending an awesome live show and not forgetting the brilliant Gingerbread decorating.\u00a0<\/p>

You can also take a leisurely trip on the \u2018Jingle Express\u2019 around the farm and then finish off by visiting the Candy Cane Cottage Sweet Shop for a wonderful selection of amazing candy canes!<\/p>

The big event though is of course getting to meet the big man himself\u2026\u00a0 The grotto looked stunning inside and our 5 year old was in awe and in full Christmas excitement mode!<\/p>

\"\"Santa was fantastic with both our youngest son and our reluctant 13 year old, who it was decided would try and enjoy himself for the sake of said 5 year old.\u00a0<\/p>

We\u2019ve experienced lots of Santa\u2019s over the years (even though there’s obviously only one!) and I’m pleased to say he was on good form.\u00a0 The visit included a trip to the elves workshop for a free gift and there were lots of\u00a0 really great options available.<\/p>

We finished off with a visit to Dotty\u2019s tea room for a hot drink and a snack.\u00a0 Festive food and drink (including mulled wine and mince pies) was also \"\"available at the \u2018Snow Inn\u2019, but this was pretty busy when we visited.\u00a0 We typically attended on a day when the weather was horrible (even the elves were wearing rain covers!) and I think most visitors were taking a brief break from the cold and the rain.<\/p>

Kent life is great regardless of the weather though.<\/p>

The Christmas experience is running until the 24th<\/sup> November and if you haven’t visited Santa yet or are looking for Christmassy day out in the coming weeks, do pay them a visit<\/p>
