Autumnal adventures and Halloween happenings
in Kent this half-term with the National Trust
Autumn is the perfect time to get outside and create unforgettable moments this October half-term. With all kinds of family-friendly and Halloween events on offer, the kids won’t get bored. From a Black Cat trail at Bodiam Castle and Bat trail at Ightham Mote to a Petrifying Pumpkin trail at Chartwell and Terrifying Trees trail at Emmetts Garden, there’s something fun for everyone to experience at National Trust places in Kent and East Sussex.
It’s also the ideal time to have a go at some ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ activities. You could play conkers, explore inside a tree or go on a nature walk at night.
Every visit to a National Trust property this autumn helps look after special places for ever, for everyone. By providing access to these extraordinary places and enabling people to experience them in ways that deepen their understanding, we hope to inspire them to value our places and to help us to look after them through every season of the year.
