Award-winning touring theatre company Oddsocks Productions will bring their unique and entertaining take on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet to Bowring Park, Wellington, on Sunday 21st June at 5pm.
Known for transforming classic stories into bold, interactive and laugh-out-loud performances, Oddsocks promises a fresh twist on one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies. Audiences can expect comedy, audience participation and plenty of surprises as the tale of the star-crossed lovers unfolds in the company’s trademark style.
The open-air performance is suitable for the whole family and offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy live theatre in the beautiful surroundings of Bowring Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring along chairs, blankets and a picnic and settle in for an evening of outdoor entertainment.
As with all Oddsocks productions, the show will go ahead in most weather conditions, adding to the fun and unpredictability of the outdoor theatre experience.
