From 12pm to 9pm, the park will be transformed into a vibrant festival of entertainment, activities and community spirit, with something for all ages to enjoy. Completely FREE to attend, the much-loved event offers residents the chance to spend a fun-filled day together, celebrating all that Haywards Heath has to offer.<\/p><p>Visitors can explore a fantastic variety of local stalls showcasing businesses, charities and organisations from across Haywards Heath and the surrounding area. Whether you&#8217;re discovering local services, trying your luck at tombolas and games, or picking up unique gifts and handmade products, there will be plenty to explore throughout the day.<\/p><p>A wide selection of food and drink vendors will also be serving delicious refreshments, ensuring there is something to suit every taste. Whether you&#8217;re taking a break with a bite to eat, browsing the stalls or enjoying the entertainment, there&#8217;s plenty to keep everyone occupied from start to finish.<\/p><p>Families will find no shortage of entertainment, with activities including face painting, balloon modelling, circus skills, crazy golf, funfair rides, a miniature railway, a classic vehicle show, and even the chance to meet a life-sized T-Rex for some truly roar-some photo opportunities.<\/p><p>Skate enthusiasts can also head over to the skate park, where the SkateFarm team will be hosting free sessions from 12pm to 5pm. Whether you&#8217;re an experienced skater or trying it for the very first time, everyone is welcome to get involved, learn new skills and enjoy the action.<\/p><p>Animal lovers are invited to take part in the ever-popular The Mewes Vets Dog Show, with registration opening from 12pm. Bring along your four-legged friends and join in the fun, with a range of classes offering the perfect opportunity to show off your beloved companions in a friendly and entertaining competition.<\/p><p>Entertainment will continue throughout the day with a packed programme of performances from talented local community groups and musicians. Returning once again as comp\u00e8re is Paul Stanworth, who will keep the celebrations flowing throughout the afternoon and evening.<\/p><p>Before the headline performance, audiences will enjoy a very special appearance from Lizzie Bea, who grew up in Haywards Heath and has gone on to enjoy an outstanding career in London&#8217;s West End, starring in productions including <em>Hairspray<\/em>, <em>Sister Act<\/em> and <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em>. Local indie-pop duo Sweet Loretta will also take to the stage, bringing their uplifting sound inspired by the feel-good music of the 1970s and 1980s, making them the perfect lead-in to the evening&#8217;s finale.<\/p><p>The celebrations will conclude with the hugely popular ABBA ReBj\u00f6rn, who will have Victoria Park singing and dancing along to all the greatest ABBA hits, providing a fantastic finale to an unforgettable day.<\/p><p>Town Mayor, Cllr Duncan Pascoe, has chosen Kangaroos Mid Sussex as his charity to support during his second term of office. The local charity provides activities, opportunities and support for children and adults with learning disabilities. While Town Day is free for everyone to attend, there will be opportunities throughout the day for visitors to make a donation in support of Kangaroos and the valuable work they carry out across the community.<\/p><p>Cllr Pascoe shared <em>\u201cTown Day is one of my favourite events of the year because it brings our whole community together to celebrate everything that makes Haywards Heath such a special place. Whether you&#8217;re joining us for the fantastic entertainment, supporting our local businesses and community groups, enjoying the family activities or simply spending time with friends and neighbours, there&#8217;s something for everyone to enjoy.
