This month, Lindfield Repair Café is celebrating its 5th Anniversary! We look forward to celebrating with our regular visitors, as well as welcoming new ones. We are thrilled that the repair café continues to be so popular with residents locally and from the wider area. We regularly carry out repairs or maintenance on over 100 items at our Saturday morning events. These include a huge range of items from teddy bears to tools, coats to coffee machines, dolls to dinosaurs, and jewellery to jugs. The repair café is also a popular meeting place where visitors can enjoy a hot drink and slice of homemade cake while they wait for a repairer.

We will be welcoming Mid Downs Radio who are celebrating 50 years of hospital broadcasting, as guests in our community lounge.

As always, there will be a craft activity in the Kids’ Room, encouraging our younger generation to hone skills which will hopefully encourage them to become our next generation of Repairers.

ALL REPAIRS MUST BE CHECKED IN BY 12.00PM FOR COMPLETION BY CLOSING AT 1PM PLEASE

Computer Advice at Lindfield Repair Café:
We don’t carry spares, so physical repairs aren’t usually practical, and the aim is not to compete with local professional services, but we can help with technical issues that may be making you think about replacing your device prematurely. Don’t forget the power supply!

Recycling Collection Points at the Café:
Used Candle Wax for recycling by the Candle Lady
Empty Printer Cartridges

Household Refills:
Andi Frost regularly parks her Fill Good refill van outside the Repair Café. Bring along your empty containers to stock up on a wide range of store cupboard, cleaning essentials and much more.
