About The Event
\nThe Qualsafe Level 3 Award in BLS, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis for Adults, Children and Infants (RQF) is designed for people who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide adult, child or infant basic life support (BLS), safely use a defibrillator (AED) and provide management of anaphylaxis.
\nThe qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of the Resuscitation Council (UK) and a distinguished panel of experts in emergency medical care.<\/p>\n
Successful Learners will develop the practical competencies needed to provide adult, child and infant BLS, safely use an AED and manage a casualty with anaphylaxis.<\/p>\n
The course will not only refresh your practical skills but will also update you on any resuscitation guideline changes within the previous twelve months.<\/p>\n

Conducting a scene survey
\nConducting a primary survey on an adult, child and infant
\nIdentifying when to administer CPR
\nDemonstrating CPR using adult, child, and infant manikins
\nDemonstrating Safe use of an AED on an adult, child, and infant
\nConsiderations when administering CPR and using an AED
\nWhen to place a casualty in the recovery position
\nHow to place an adult, child, and infant in the recovery position
\nContinually monitoring breathing whilst in the recovery position
\nRecognising suspected anaphylaxis
\nAdministering first aid for a casualty with suspected anaphylaxis
\nUsing an adrenaline auto-injector\u200b<\/p>\n
