Spring has sprung! Come and explore the exciting world of minibeasts. Use a net to dive into the watery depths of the pond in search of water boatmen and newt tadpoles and learn all about the fascinating world of mysterious moths as we open the moth trap to see what we have found.
Spend time at the camp site and practice safe fire lighting to make your own hot drink. Delve into the woodland undergrowth to find spiders and snails. Use natural materials to make a giant sculpture in the woods and make your own model to take home.
Suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children. Meet in the classroom at Woods Mill. Please ensure children bring a packed lunch, drink and extra snacks and wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear and sun protection for the weather conditions. Not suitable for wheelchair users or those with compromised mobility. Toilets available on site. Compass Bus no.100 Burgess Hill – Pulborough stops at Woods Mill.
